THE INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR THE CULTURAL HERITAGE SITES OF THE VOLOGDA REGION

A QR code is a two - dimensional barcode, easily recognizable by any scanning equipment, including a camera of a mobile phone. Abbreviation QR means «quick response». Using a QR code, you can encrypt any information.

Placement of the plates with the QR-code, which will be an encrypted link to the information about them in the Russian and English languages, on the sites of cultural and historical heritage, allows:

- anyone with a mobile phone or a tablet, who is next to a monument, to quickly and easily obtain reliable information about it;

- an individual tourist to get acquainted with the Vologda attractions independently, easily finding their way in an unfamiliar place.

To get information about an object of cultural heritage, it is enough to bring to the plate a mobile phone or a tablet with the installed program recognizing QR-codes with an encrypted link to the site www.qr35.ru.

The link takes you to a page of the site www.qr35.ru, where there is information about the cultural heritage site on which an information plate is placed.
